There weren't other options for me back home. Not yet. We're sort of fighting so people can stop fighting and get options.

I might have. Prolonged the mistaking a little. Partly to avoid getting hit with a staff.

A very good friend of mine. To be fair, the planet where I met her wasn't exactly the friendliest.
Even people around here sometimes carry things around for self defense.
